SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! • In Canada, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before installing and operating this product, the user and/or installer must read, understand and follow these instructions and keep them handy for future reference. - Page 4 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 10.When mounting the unit, make sure that the anchor used can support the total weight of the unit with the mounting brackets. 11.When cutting or drilling into a ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring and other hidden utilities. 12.When starting up the unit for the first time or after a long period, it might produce some temporary odours and whitish smoke.

The heater has a thermal cut-off protection. If the thermal cut-off protection trips, switch off the power. The unit should reset automatically after 10 minutes. If the thermal cut-off protection trips again, determine the reason for overheating. 68125104 Model ECH110 Heating capacity 500 sq.ft. -

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS • Installation must be performed in accordance with the requirements of CEC by authorized personnel only. • Cut off power supply at circuit breaker/fuse before proceeding with the installation. This unit must be installed on the surface of a finished ceiling or suspended from the ceiling. - Page 7 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 7. Run the electrical supply cable up to the wiring compartment of the unit. Provide a sufficient length of wire to facilitate the connections, which are made while the unit is still hanging from the bracket. 8. Make the electrical connections using the supplied wire connectors (marrettes). Connect the ground wire to the grounding screw.

ELECTRICAL WIRING • The heater must be installed by a certified electrician and in accordance with the local and national building codes. • In Canada, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician. • This convection heater is to be used on a 240(CD1)V AC power supply and grounded outlets. -
