direct sunlight shining on the solar panel.
The snowman holds two small lanterns in his hands. At nightfall, the LEDs
inside the lanterns automatically begin to shine.
During the day, the LEDs switch off automatically.
Troubleshooting
If the LEDs of the snowman do not light up after several sunny days with direct
sunlight, please check the following possible causes for the defect:
Make sure the snowman is switched on (On/Off button at the bottom has to
be depressed).
Foreign light sources such as street lamps, automobile headlights or
illuminated address lights may temporarily switch off the light.
The solar module is dirty. Carefully clean it with a cloth.
The rechargeable battery is defective. To replace the battery, remove the 4
screws of the battery compartment lid at the bottom of the snowman. Remove
the battery compartment lid and the rubber protection cover. Insert a new
battery. Pay attention to the proper polarity. Operate the solar snowman only
with a 1.2 V Ni-MH rechargeable battery of the type LR6 (AA) with at least
600 mAh. Close the battery compartment.
