Ozone alarm functions
The unit has a "two-way" warning system to signal the start or end of the ozone
cleaning function:
1. Audible alarm
a. Rapid alarm: As soon as you start the ozone
cleaning function, the air purifier emits a rapidly
repeating beep sound for approx. 30 seconds.
Please leave the room within this time and lock
the door. The same sound is emitted when the
unit detects persons or other living beings in the
room (beep approx. 2 x per second).
b. Slow alarm: The unit emits a slowly repeating
beep sound throughout the ozone purification process. After the cleaning
programme is completed, the alarm sounds for two more hours, during which
the normal cleaning mode filters the ozone out of the room.
2. Visual alarm:
a. Rapid alarm: As soon as you start the ozone cleaning function, the air purifier
emits a rapidly flashing orange light signal.
The same light signal is emitted when the unit detects persons or other living
beings in the room. (Flashes approx. 2 x per second)
b. Slow alarm: The unit emits a slowly flashing orange light signal throughout the
ozone purification process. After the cleaning programme is completed, the
alarm lights up for two more hours, during which the normal cleaning mode
filters the ozone out of the room.
3. Motion sensor:
a. The unit is equipped with a motion sensor that detects people and animals in
the room.
