Playable disc type

This unit is designed for PAL and NTSC formats. Use discs with "PAL" or "NTSC" and
any of the following marks on the disc or package. This unit cannot play discs using
formats other than PAL or NTSC, such as SECAM.
Mark
NOTE
• Some functions may not operate as you intended, since this unit plays disc
contents as intended by the software creator. Be sure to read the instruction
manual supplied with the disc.

Region code of playable discs

(Region code) mark is indicated on some DVDs to represent playable areas. This

unit can only play discs indicated "3" or "ALL" on this mark. If you attempt to play the
other discs, "Incorrect region code." appears.
Note also that some discs may be subject to regional restrictions and not be played on
this unit, even though they list or state a region code.
