• This function is not available for discs that do not support parental screening.
• After entering your code, you need to enter the code number to use this function.
Take care not to forget your code number. If you forget your code number, touch
10 times with the code number section empty to initialise (delete) the current
code number.
• There are three parental screening levels:
− Level 1:
Play only DVD software created specifically for children. (Prohibit playing general
and adult-themed DVD software.)
− Levels 2 to 7:
Play only the general and children's DVD software. (Prohibit playing adult-
themed DVD software.)
− Level 8:
Play all DVD software. (Default)

Playing a DVD that has a viewing restriction (in Parental Setting)

To play a DVD that has a viewing restriction you must enter a passcode. Playback will
not begin unless the passcode is entered correctly.
