Using the Android Auto function

Remove any iPods, iPhones, Android smartphone or USB devices connected to this
unit before connecting via Android Auto. Settings cannot be changed while devices are
connected.

Connecting an Android smartphone via USB

NOTE
• When connecting for the first time, connection may fail if the date and time on the
unit and the Android smartphone are different. Check the date and time settings on
your Android smartphone and try again.
• The Android Auto may be displayed instead of the connected menu when a
Android smartphone is connected.
1.
Open the protective cover on the
USB/AUX terminal.
2.
Connect your Android smartphone
to the USB terminal.
3.
Touch the
button on the
connected menu screen.
4.
The "CAUTION" screen is only
display the first time connection
on the screen. Read the caution
carefully and touch

The Android Auto screen appears.
