TIMESHIFT MODE

NOTES
• Don't connect or disconnect any USB device while in USB playback mode.
• Ensure all personal data is backed up before inserting USB device into TV.
We assume no liability for any loss of data due to malfunction or misuse.
• This TV requires a minimum of 64GB storage for Live Playback functions.
• Ensure the drive is formatted for FAT32 before using with this TV. Use a
computer to format the drive beforehand.
• USB device must support USB 2.0 high-speed specification.
• You cannot change channels while in Timeshift mode.
• While in Timeshift mode, do not turn TV off.
Setup
To use Timeshift settings, first you must prepare your USB device (minimum
64GB), formatting it for FAT32. Next, insert the USB drive in either of your TV's
USB 2.0 input ports.
During live TV playback, press the
Press the Start Live Playback button at the bottom of the screen to begin
buffering.
Using Timeshift
With the Timeshift function turned on, you may pause and rewind normal TV
viewing at any time without missing any of the live broadcast. This can also
allow you to create a buffer and skip forward
through commercials.
Press the II Pause button on the remote control
while in DTV mode to activate Timeshift mode.
Pressing Play will resume from where you left
off. Use the Magic Remote's pointer to select
a position on the progress bar. You can also
use the / Direction buttons buttons for this
feature.
Press
to exit Timeshift mode. If a USB

device dedicated to recording is disconnected,
Timeshift files that were saved will automatically
be deleted.

RECORDING LIVE PLAYBACK

During live playback, press the
Wheel (OK)
Then press the
button at the bottom of the screen to begin recording.
To stop recording, press the
button.
NOTES
• While recording, press the Wheel (OK) button to display information about
the recording.
• If multiple USB storage devices are connected, the last recorded storage
device is selected automatically.
• This TV requires a minimum USB capacity of 4GB for Recording functions.
• The available storage on the USB device must be at least 1GB.
• Upon the initial attempt to record to the USB memory, the TV will perform a
performance test. Start recording after the test has been completed normally.
• Do not remove the USB device or power off the TV while recording. If you force
your TV to power off while recording, the recorded content may not be saved.
• Recording quality depends on the performance of the USB storage device.
The USB storage device may not work or function properly when a USB hub or
extension cable is used.
• Some other functions may not be available while recording is in progress.
• Recordings that are less than 10 seconds long will not be saved.
• You can save up to 600 pieces of content on a single partition.
