Procedure
1. Slide the power-button board under the tab on the palm-rest assembly and align the screw hole on the power-button board
with the screw hole on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Adhere the tape that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Adhere the power-button board cable to the palm-rest assembly.
5. Slide the power-button board cable through the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
6. Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
7. Slide the power-button board cable into its connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
Post-requisites
1. Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 7 in
