7.1.3 Adjusting the Belt Tension of the Front X Slider

(1) Remove the front and rear right corner covers.
(2) Adjust the two M3 binding head screws indicated by the (D) arrows so that the belt is balanced right and
left.
* Turn the screws to the right to tighten the belt.
* Turn the screws to the left to loosen the belt.
(3) Check the belt tension. (See subsection 7.1.5, "Checking the Belt Tension of the Front and Rear X
Sliders".)
(4) Perform the radiating lines test to check that the belt at the pulley section is balanced right and left.
If not, repeat steps (2) to (4) above so that the belt is balanced.

7.1.4 Adjusting the Belt Tension of the Rear X Slider

(1) Remove the rear right corner cover.
(2) Adjust the two M3 binding head screws indicated by the (E) arrows so that the belt is balanced right and
left.
* Turn the screws to the right to tighten the belt.
* Turn the screws to the left to loosen the belt.
(3) Check the belt tension. (See subsection 7.1.5, "Checking the Belt Tension of the Front and Rear X
Sliders".)
(4) Perform the radiating lines test to check that the belt at the pulley section is balanced right and left.
If not, repeat steps (2) to (4) above so that the belt is balanced.
