8. Function check

8.1 Intervals

Subject the storage system to a function check before it is used each time and every time
it has been dismantled, but in any case at least every 6 months.
If you discover faults during the function check, do not use the storage system again until
the faults have been rectified.

8.2 SOMNObutler 2 stationary

Visual inspection
1. Look at the storage system closely. The storage system may not be damaged in any way
– which could result in parts coming loose
– which may restrict the function of the storage system or
– which may cause injuries.
If you find any damage relating to one of these points, the storage system must be
repaired or replaced.
Check components on the storage system
Perform the function checks for the components of the polysomnography system in
accordance with the associated instructions for use. Also observe the intervals quoted
in the instructions for use.
Check catch for wall mounting
1. Hang the storage system on the wall mounting and allow it to engage.
– The storage system must be located firmly in the wall mounting.
– The red control pin of the catch cross-bar must be flush with the top edge of
the catch housing.
