Now rotate the camera distance arm together with the horizontal arm for 180 degrees
backwards – as shown in figure II – and lock it with clamping screw 1. Don't apply force.
Make sure that the point of clamping screw 1 locks onto the flat section of the central axis, as
shown in figure II. Clamping Screw 2 remains open.

Now rotate the camera distance arm
together with the horizontal arm by 90
degrees, with CS2 remains unlocked. The
arm must snap in twice, until it is – as shown
in figure III – in an angle of 90° towards the
eyepiece holder. Now lock clamping screw 2.
This is the final state of the Microstage II. Now you can attach your camera.

Unlock clamping screw 3 until you can move
the horizontal arm in the position shown in
figure IV, then lock CS3 again.
