Setting safety stop

1. Set the encoding switch to "0".
2. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 This selects operating mode.
3. Press the button u (lowering).
 The main column and secondary column support
arms move downwards.
4. Move the support arms to the required position.

Downward movement is halted at a height of 200
mm between the lower edge of the support arms
and the floor on account of the standard setting of
the safety stop. Press the button u (lowering) again
to set the safety stop to below this value.
5. Set the encoding switch to "6".
6. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 LED1 and LED2 light (green).
7. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 LED1 and LED2 flash (green).

Re-establishing factory settings

Then check the cut-out points and correct if neces-
sary.

Only perform this function if operating mode "0" can
no longer be activated.
1. VLE 2130 ELSwitch off the .
2. Fit the factory settings jumper (refer to Fig. 4,
Item 2).
3. VLE 2130 ELSwitch on the .
 LED1 and LED2 flash (green/orange).
4. Wait three seconds.
5. Switch off the VLE 2130 EL.
6. Remove the factory settings jumper (refer to Fig. 4)
(jumper not fitted).
7. Switch on the VLE 2130 EL.
8. Set the encoding switch to "0".
9. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 LED 1 and LED 2 light (green).
 This selects operating mode.
10. Press and hold the button o (raise).
 The main column and secondary column support
arms move upwards.
11. Move the support arms to a height of approx. 50 cm.
12. Set the encoding switch to "8".
13. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 This selects Activation/diagnosis function mode.
 LED1 and LED2 flash (red/green).
 Acoustic signal sounds intermittently.

14. Press and hold the button o (raise).
 LED1 lights (red), LED2 off.
 LED1 off, LED2 lights (red).
 LED1 and LED2 light (red).

15. Release the button o (raise).
 LED1 and LED2 flash (orange/green).
16. Press and hold the button u (lowering).
 LED1 lights (orange), LED2 off.
 LED1 off, LED2 lights (orange).
 LED1 and LED2 light (orange).
 The main column and secondary column sup-
port arms move downwards.
 The main column and secondary column sup-
port arms stop.
17. Release the button u (lowering).
 LED1 and LED2 flash (green).
18. Set the encoding switch to "0".
19. Confirm with <ENTER>.
 LED1 and LED2 flash (green).
 Buzzer stops sounding.

Activation successfully implemented.

If a fault occurs during the test, the platform can-
not be operated in "0" setting. The test can only be
repeated after interrupting the power supply.If the
jumper is then not removed, the factory settings will
be loaded again the next time the platform is swit-
ched off and on.
