ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

BEFORE MAINTENANCE
★ Only authorized technicians should disassemble, repair, or
modify this product.
● Ignition or malfunction may occur, causing injury.
★ Be sure to remove the power plug from the electrical outlet
WARNING
when performing maintenance. DO NOT remove or insert the
plug with wet hands.
● Failure to heed this warning may result in electric shock or burns.
MAINTENANCE OF THE MAIN UNIT
●
When cleaning the main unit, wipe it with a soft cloth soaked in dishwashing detergent and dry
with a soft cloth.
★ DO NOT use paint thinner, benzene or alcohol to avoid the degradation or discoloration of the body.
Wiping the unit with benzen or paint thinner may resuit in Cracking or Electrical Shock.
MAINTENANCE OF PREFILTER
★ Clean the Prefilter periodically ( more than once every two weeks ) .
● If the Prefilter is continuously used and an excessive amount of cotton waste,
accumulates, the Air Purifier may be subjected to inflammation or malfunction.
CAUTION
Be sure also to always use the Prefilter for Air Purifier operation.
1 1 First stop the operation of the Air Purifier and next
remove the power plug from the electrical outlet.
2 2 Pull the front panel toward you and
remove it while pressing the right
and left buttons at the bottom of
the main unit.

Remove the Prefilter.

4 Clean the Prefilter with electric vacuum cleaner.
★ When it is contaminated excessively, wash with lukewarm
water or water mixed with neutral detergent and dry
completely in the shade.

5 5 Return the Prefilter to the Front Panel.
★ The Prefilter has no right side up.

6 Align the nails located at the top of the front panel
to the main unit, and hang the front panel onto the
right and left hooks at the lower part.

Prefilter
●
When the Semi HEPA filter is dirty, the filter lamp will light. If it lights, please refer to the
1 HOW TO INSTALL THE FILTERS and replace the old and dirty Semi HEPA filter with a new one,
which is optionally available.
●
Be sure to press the Reset Button after replacing the Semi HEPA filter and completing its
installation. Otherwise, the filter lamp will remain ON and the following filter replacement time
will not be indicated.
Activated carbon filter should be replaced every two years or so. Please replace with a new one when
the old one deteriorates and is unable to eliminate odors.
AC PLUG AND OUTLET
●Dust and dirt on the AC plug and the electric outlet can cause a fire. Unplug the appliance more than
once every three months and remove dust and dirt.
