Replace the defective bulb.

Bulbs with higher light-intensity
ratings are available through af-
termarket suppliers. These bulbs
burn out more rapidly and gener-
ate more heat than conventional
bulbs. Under adverse conditions
the extra heat can cause damage
to the headlight.
Bulb for low-beam and
z
high-beam headlight
H4 / 12 V / 60 W / 55 W
Hold the bulb 4 by the base
only, in order to keep the glass
free of foreign matter.
Align the bulb 4 and press it
into the socket 5.
Install the wire spring clip 3.
Install cover 2.
Connect plug 1.
Replacing bulb for parking
light
Pull the socket 1 out of the
headlight housing.
Pull the light source 2 out of
the socket 1.
