Troubleshooting
The following list shall help you to solve minor problems yourself. Select the relevant
problem description and check and perform the steps listed under Solution in sequence until
the problem is solved.
Problem
iQ4Bike base not being
detected by PC.
Windows Control Panel
device manager displaying a
device with a yellow excla-
mation mark or a red
triangle.
Communication with
IQ4BIKE diagnostic tool not
being established.
Installation and connection
Cause
USB cable not connec-
ted.
Faulty USB cable.
USB port blocked at the
PC.
Driver defective or
incorrectly installed.
IQ4BIKE diagnostic tool
programme no longer
reacting.
Defective iQ4Bike base.

Solution
Connect the USB cable to
PC and iQ4Bike base.
Replace the USB cable.
Activate the USB port.
Re-install the driver,
allowing the system to
look for the driver itself.
Restart the IQ4BIKE
diagnostic tool.
Replace iQ4Bike base.
