Warranty

Warranty arrangements are in accordance with
the European Directive 1999/44/EC and the
normal conditions applicable for the country
concerned. Any malfunction due to improper
use is not covered by the warranty.

Limitation of liability

All information and guidance in these
installation instructions have been prepared
after taking into consideration the applicable
standards and regulations as well as the
current state of the art. Dometic reserves
the right to make changes at any time which
are deemed to be in the interest of improving
the product and safety.
Dometic will assume no liability for damage in
the case of:
non-observance of the installation
instructions
unintended use
use of non-original spare parts
modifications of and interventions
in the unit

Disposal

This product must not be disposed of in the
normal domestic waste.

2.0 Safety instructions

2.1

Intended use

Dometic AC/DC converters are only used to
supply 12V devices in habitable recreational
vehicles (caravan, motorhome, boat etc.).
2.2

User's responsibility

Anyone operating the Dometic AC/DC con-
verter must be familiar with the safe handling
and understand the instructions in this
installation manual.
Non-observance of the following safety
instructions can result in serious damage to
the Dometic AC/DC converter and adjacent
areas.
WARNING!
Do not make any changes, additional
installations or repairs to the Dometic
AC/DC converter or to the installation
performed by the vehicle manufacturer.
WARNING!
The Dometic AC/DC converter must not
be used in potentially explosive gas or
dust areas.
CAUTION!
The Dometic AC/DC converter must
not be covered or exposed to environ-
mental conditions which adversely
affect the ventilation of the unit.
Do not cover the AC/DC converter
with clothing as this can disrupt the
function of the unit.
