Managing torrent files via your
Android device
You can manage the torrent files on your NAS-M5 using your Android device.
IMPORTANT:
• Ensure that BT Client add-in application is installed in your NAS.
• Download the ASUS NAS-M25 BT Manager from the Android Market.
To manage torrent files via your Android device:
1. On your Android device, tap the search icon and key in NAS-M25 to search and
download the ASUS NAS-M5 BT Manager.
. After installing the ASUS NAS-M5 BT Manager on your Android device, tap Open
settings.
. Configure the following settings:
IP or domain name: Key in the NAS-M5 IP address or the NAS Domain Name.
Use authentication: Tap to tick this item.
Username: Key in your NAS-M5 default administrator username admin.
Password: Key in your NAS-M5 administrator password.
NOTE:
The NAS Domain Name is the domain name of your NAS-M5 that you registered via
Networks > Dynamic DNS in the NAS web GUI.
4. When you have successfully configured the ASUS NAS-M5 BT Manager settings, you
can monitor and control your NAS-M5 BT Client on your Android device. See 6.2
Using BT Client for details on downloading and uploading BitTorrent files.
