3.3.18 Enabling the e-mail alert service

Enable the e-mail alert service and get various event reminders, notifications, and
warnings via e-mail.
To enable the e-mail alert service:
1. From the navigation pane, click Maintenance > Events.
. In the E-Mail Settings area, configure the following settings:
E-mail Alert: Select Enable.
Login Method: Select Login if your mail server requires authentication. Select
Anonymous if it does not.
SMTP Server / Port Number: Key in the address and port number of your mail server.
NOTE:
Contact your mail service provider for the above information.
Sender E-mail: Key in your e-mail address.
Receiver E-mail: Key in the recipient's e-mail address.
. Click Test E-Mail to verify if you have enabled the e-mail alert service successfully.
4. In the Event Alert Settings area, select the events.
5. Click Apply.
