CONTROL PARTS AND FUNCTIONS
Steering Lock
There is a steering lock (1) lo-
cated on the right side of the
steering head. To lock the steer-
ing, turn the handlebars all the
way to the left. Open the steer-
ing lock cover, push the key in-
ward and turn it 1/8 turn counter-
clockwise.
Remove the key
from the lock and close the cov-
er. To unlock the steering, turn
the key to the original position.
It may be necessary to turn the
handlebars slightly to the left or
right to relieve pressure on the
steering lock pin.
WARNING: Operation of the vehicle with the steering locked could cause an
upset resulting in injury or death. Never push or operate your motorcycle with the
steering locked.
Seat
The seat lock is located be-
hind the seat on the left side.
Take the following steps to
unlock the seat:
1. Insert the key and turn it
counterclockwise.
2. Lift and remove the seat.
NOTE:
Make certain the
seat is securely fitted.
WARNING: Never ride
with a helmet in the helmet
holder. The helmet may hit
objects, causing loss of con-
trol and possibly an accident.
