1-8 System Packaging The original Chenbro packaging, where the server system is delivered, is designed to provide protection for L5 configuration and tested to meet ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) Test Procedure 1A (2008). The packaging is also designed to be reused for shipment after the system integration has been completed.

RM133 Series 2-1 Top Cover Installation Figure 13 Front top cover installation 1. Insert the front top cover, align the pins on the cover with the grooves on the chassis base, and slide it toward the front panel until locking into place.
RM133 Series 2-2 HDD Cage Installation Figure 15 RM13304 HDD cage installation 1. Insert HDD cage, carefully align the grooves on the cage with the pins on the chassis, and slide the cage backward the front panel. 2. Secure HDD cage with two screws as shown.
RM133 Series 2-3 External Hot-swap HDD Assembly Installation and Removal Figure 17 3.5” hot-swap HDD assembly installation 1. With the lever open, insert the HDD assembly into the drive bay until the end of the HDD cage. 2. Push in the lever to lock it into place.

NOTE: Due to degraded performance and reliability concerns, the use of the 3.5” drive blank as a 2.5” device bracket is intended to support SSD type storage devices only.

Push down the HDD/SSD carefully. NOTE: To ensure proper system airflow requirements, all front drive bays must be populated with drive carriers. Drive carriers must be installed with either drives or supplied drive blanks.

Light pipes integrated into the drive tray direct light emitted from LEDs mounted next to each drive connector on the backplane to the drive tray faceplate, making them visible from the front of the system.
