MAINTENANCE

It is recommended that maintenance be done at an authorized repair centre.
WARNING ! Always wear protective gloves during maintenance operations.

Do not carry out maintenance when the engine is running or hot.
WARNING ! Use only original manufacture's replacement parts, accessories
!
and attachments. Failure to do so can cause possible injury and poor performance.
Before conducting any maintenance make sure the trimmer is unplugged.
Only the maintenance operations described in this manual may be
carried out by the user. Any other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
Check all screws regularly to ensure that they sit tight.
Only use original replacement parts. Only these spare parts are designed
and suitable for the device. Other replacement parts will not only lead to an
invalidation of the warranty, they may also endanger you and your
environment.
STORAGE
Clean the line trimmer thoroughly before storing.
Store the line trimmer in a dry, well-ventilated place that is inaccessible to
children. Keep away from corrosive agents.

TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING ! Always stop unit and disconnect from the power source before

performing all of the recommended remedies below except remedies that
require unit to be operating.

Extension cord connection loosen
Spool housing can not rotate freely
Cutting line does not protrude

Cutting head bound with
accumulated grass
String head out of line
Spool bound up

Line twisted when refilled
Not enough line is exposed
REMEDY
Connect the cord well
Carefully clean the spool housing
Cut the spool line off unit it reach
the line trimming blade
Contact customer service
Stop the unit and clean string
head
Refill with new line
Replace the spool
Clean spool and spool housing
Disassemble and rewind the line
Push the bump knob and pull out
line until it is outside of the string
head
