4 Test Interface Card

This section provides an overview of the Test Interface Card (TIC) and its features for advanced
debug and testing purposes.
The TIC is a development board that exposes all the Iridium Edge Pro's signals on easily
accessible ports. It consists of a printed circuit card and Flex Connector board mounted on a
solid, white powder-coated base, as shown in Figure 4-1. The Flex Connector board provides a
connection to the Iridium Edge Pro

Iridium Edge Pro device's electrical interface.

4.1 Power System
The TIC's power system consists of the Main Power Input, the Alternate Power Input, the on-
board regulators and the Iridium Edge Pro Power Select Switch.
If the Iridium Edge Pro requires a reset, users are recommended to unplug the power source for
at least ten seconds.
