INSTALLATION

Boiler installation should be carried out by qualified personnel, following the manufacturerís instructions and
in compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations. Compliance with regulations on safety and on man u fac -
tur ing and positioning of flues is essential.
HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
Perform hydraulic connection of the unit according to the instructions placed near each attachment, in addition
to those outlined in Fig. 1 of this booklet. Connection should be carried out so that the pipes are free from
stresses. It is mandatory to install the safety valve on the heating circuit, in the closest possible point to the
boiler, without there being any obstruction or cut-off mechanism between the boiler and the valve.
The unit is not supplied with an expansion tank. Its connection must therefore be carried out by the Installer.
Remember that the pre-operating pressure of the system must be between 0.5 and 1.5 bar .
FLUE CONNECTION
It is necessary to connect the boiler to a proper flue built in compliance with current regulations. The pipe between
the boiler and flue must be in a temperature- and corrosion-resistant material suitable for this pur pose. Make
sure that the joints are carefully sealed and that the pipe between boiler and chimney is thermally insulated
in order to prevent the formation of condensate.
