Frequent electrical disturbances, both natural and man-made, degrade the quality of power supplied to your home theater system. Brownouts or blackouts can cause you to lose your complex settings, and ultimately damage your valuable equipment along with the overall quality of your home theater experience. -

Alarms Battery Backup (Slow Alarm) When the PureAV Battery Backup is in battery-backup mode, the “Battery On” LED (green) illuminates and the PureAV Battery Backup sounds an audible alarm. The alarm stops when the PureAV Battery Backup returns to normal online operation. Product Features Rear Panel A. Surge-Protection-Only Outlets Equipment such as printers, fax machines, scanners, or desk lamps can be plugged into these outlets. These outlets do not provide power during a power outage. These outlets are always on (when AC power is available) and are not controlled by the front-panel switch. -

“REPLACE BATTERY” LED. The loads are not affected. Recharge the battery overnight and perform the self-test again. If the “REPLACE BATTERY” LED is still on, the battery will need to be replaced. Please contact Belkin Customer Service for assistance. -

Connect a modular coaxial cable between the cable wall outlet and the surge protector jack marked “IN”. Connect another coaxial cable between the surge protector jack marked “OUT” and the cable equipment or cable modem being protected. *All equipment must be turned off prior to hardware installation. -
