Security advice
This instruction manual contains important
and helpful hints which must be followed
for a safe and trouble-free operation of the
extractor hood. Please keep the operating
and assembly instructions in a safe place
for reconsultation.
Designated use
The extractor hood should be used solely
for removing moisture and cooking odours
in the kitchen. Any other usage is
considered to be improper. An improper
usage of the extractor can endanger
persons and items. The extractor hood
should not be used as a clipboard for
subjects like for example bottles or spice cans.
Installation
The appliance should be connected only
by an authorized expert according to all re-
levant regulations of the electricity supply
enterprises as well as the building
regulations of the countries. Please pay
attention to the assembly instructions!
Damaged units should not be used. Faulty
parts should be replaced by original ones.
Repairs should be carried out only by
authorized technical staff.
Gas-cooking devices
Please keep the valid mounting instructions
and the installation hints of the gas-device
manufactures in mind. Over gas-cooking
fields the mounting of the extractor hood at
a minimum distance of 750 mm is only
permitted, the following nominal warmth
charges (Hs) are not exceeded:
Risk of poisoning!
If the extractor hood with an integrated
supercharger for exhaust air management
(version B) is operated at the same time
with other heat-producing appliances
dependent on air room (e.g. run by wood,
gas, oil or coal) deadly combustion gases
can be led back into the room by an accruing
under pressure. Therefore please make
sure that at any time a sufficient supply air
flow is provided. The low pressure in the
room should not be greater than 4 Pa (0.04mbar).
Risk of fire!
The extractor hood should never be used
without a fat filter and should be operated
under ward. Over-fatted filters signify fire
risk! Deep-fry under the extractor hood only
under constant ward! Please make sure
that the filters are cleaned regularly.
„Flambé" under the extractor hood is not
permitted! Gas devices may be used under
the extractor hood only with pots on! Please
run the extractor hood on level 2 or higher if
you use more than 3 gas cookeries at the
same time. Thereby a heat accumulation
in the appliance is avoided.
Risk of electric shock!
Please do not clean the extractor hood with
a steam cleaner or high water pressure.
Please separate the extractor hood from the
power supply network and pay attention to
the fact that no water seeps into the
appliance during the cleaning process.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children)
with restricted physical, sensorial or mental
capabilities or with a lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for safety or have
received instructions from that person as
regards the use of the appliance. Children
must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.

General method of operation:

The extractor hood has been especially
developed for the extraction of cooking
vapours in private households. Rising
cooking vapours are captured by the
extractor hood and extracted via suction
slots, thus creating a nozzle effect. The
extremely high and efficient flow speeds
achieved by this are directed through a
double condensation filter, whereby the
grease is separated from the air. The
condensation filter is held in the hood body
by means of magnets. For this hood variant
