12. Switch on the circuit breaker in the house distribution box !
Perform a function test using the operating instructions !
After applying the supply voltage (mains connection), the controller first performs a self-
test and service information is displayed for customer service.
Important:
No objects may be on the touch control
sensor buttons or the cooktops when
connecting to the mains!

Cleaning

After completion of the assembly work we recommend the cleaning of the stain less steel
surfaces with our special cleaner TZ 710. for the cleaning of the glass surfaces we recom-
mend the glass cleaner Art. No.:05999704. For aluminium mini um surfaces use a soft
microfibre cloth. Do not use dry cloths. Use a mild window cleaner and no aggressive, a-
cidic or alkaline cleaners!
Do not use abrasive cleaners !
Hint:
- For recirculation hoods and use of activated carbon filters, observe the operating
instructions.
- For special designs, please refer to the corresponding design drawings.
Disposal
Packaging
The packaging for the extractor hood is recyclable. Cardboard and polyethylene film (PE)
are used as packaging materials. These materials must be disposed of in an environmen-
tally compatible manner in accordance with local regulations.
Extractor hood
All equipment powered by electricity is designated by law as electrical waste at the end of
its useful life.
Environmental information
All models manufactured by GUTMANN are identified in accordance with European Directi-
ve 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This directive spe-
cifies the framework for the EU-wide return and disposal of used appliances. Please ask y-
our dealer for information about current disposal methods. We reserve the right to make
technical changes.
