Dear customer,

thank you for choosing a shredder from Profi Offi ce Germany. We are sure that this
device will serve you well. Please spend some time for studying its manual in order
to make sure, that you will work with the "Alligator" safely, easy and adequate.

Avoid touching the document feed
opening with hands.
Avoid hair touching the document
feed opening.
1. Keep all loose articles of clothing, ties, jewelry, hair or other items away from the feed
opening to prevent injury.
2. Keep in off position when the shredder is not in use for prolonged periods of time.
3. Remove all paper clips bigger 26 mm and staples bigger than DIN 24 / 6 from paper
before shredding. The Alligator will cut paper clips; however, it is not recommended.
4. Do not place hands or fi ngers into the shredder throat as serious injury could result.
5. When manually changing feed direction, pause in the off position long enough for the
motor to stop.
6. Do not use shredder above its maximum capacity of 20 sheets (80 gr/m
of metal or active glue.
7. Continuous shredding of paper should not exceed 6 minutes. If continuous use is
required at the maximum sheet capacity (20 sheets) it is recommend that shredding
time should be 6 minutes on and 40 minutes off allowing proper cooling of motor.
8. Always turn off or unplug the shredder prior to moving, clearing or emptying the waste-
basket.
9. Empty wastebasket frequently.
10. The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
