Using PRA-BD11

Once the PRA-BD11 (SDI AES/EBU input board) has been installed in the DVD recorder
expansion slot, the furnished wires can be used to connect the board to the DVD recorder,
thereby allowing use of the SDI input and AES/EBU input connectors.
This section explains how to select inputs for the SDI and AES/EBU input connectors
that have been made available on the DVD recorder as a result of installation of the PRA-
BD11.
For information on recording, preview and other operations after selecting inputs, see
the DVD recorder Operating Instructions.
Selecting SDI video input
Display the DVD recorder's Function
Menu, and select "SDI" from [V
Input] on the STATUS section.
The "SDI" menu is added to [V
Input] and becomes available for
selection when this unit is installed.
STATUS section = [V Input]
Selecting SDI audio input
Display the DVD recorder's Function
Menu, and select "SDI" from [A
Input] on the STATUS section.
The "SDI" menu and "AES/EBU"
menu are added to [A Input] and
become available for selection
when this unit is installed.
STATUS section = [A Input]
Note:
SDI audio input is available only when SDI video input has been selected. When "SDI" is
selected on [A Input], [V Input] is automatically set to "SDI".
When [V Input] is set to something other than "SDI", [A Input] is automatically set to
"RCA" even if "SDI" is selected for [A Input].
