Installing and Routing Power Cables －Installing Copper Plates on Site (DPD63-8-8)
Do not install the copper plates in the power supply output area of the DC PDU. You should determine
whether the copper plates are installed in the power supply input area only according to the on-site power
supply situation.
Determine the input terminal pairs that must be connected internally. Then position the copper plates to the
NEG(-) input terminals on the air breakers on the PDU. Tighten the screws on the air breakers to secure
the copper plates. Note that there are copper plates targeted for the left and right power input areas and
they are not interchangeable.
Install an appropriate copper fitting on the RTN(+) input terminals in the middle of the PDU.
Connect external power cables (blue) to the NEG(-) input terminals and BGND cables (black) to RTN(+)
input terminals.
