Recommended operating range for maximum

lifetime with error-free operation
Permissible:
Still permissible operation with short service life
Maximum 160 %
and high failure probability
Impermissible:
Risk of destruction of the brake resistor due to
Over 160%
overheating and endangerment of the surround-
ing components due to high temperature
Line protection requirements
Line protection is implemented electronically internally. It requires
activation of the thermal model for the selected resistor, and the
correct braking resistor cable must be used.
The system may be damaged if this is ignored.
