11.5.5 Measurement Procedure

Depending on each set measurement method, you can carry out single or series meas-
urements wherein a measurement series is made up of 5-100 consecutive single meas-
urements.
At the beginning of each measurement a zero point comparison is carried out i.e. over 50
values a positive and a negative zero point deviation is determined which can be sub-
tracted from the relevant maximum value. The measurement must be started before be-
ginning screw cycle for correct results because otherwise the zero point is incorrectly cal-
culated.
11.5.5.1 Single Measurement
Start the measurement by pressing the button START MEASURING. A symbol will appear
on the screen where the measurement value will be displayed.
By selecting the appropriate measuring method the user may perform a single measure-
ment or a measurement series, whereby a measurement series from 5 – 100 can be per-
formed in one operation.

When automatic signal recognition is set, measurement is ended once the maximum tor-
que value has fallen below 50% of this maximum value. If this does not occur after 60 sec
then it is cancelled and a TIMEOUT error message appears.
