Grip heating

with heated handlebar grips
Operating grip heating
Start the engine.
Grip heating can be activ-
ated only when the engine
is running.
The increase in power con-
sumption caused by the
grip heating can drain the bat-
tery if you are riding at low en-
gine speeds. If the charge level
is low, grip heating is switched
off to ensure the battery's start-
ing capability.
Set switch 1 to the desired
OE
heating stage.
The handlebar grips have two-
stage heating. Stage two is for
heating the grips quickly: it is ad-
visable to switch back to stage
one as soon as the grips are
warm. Grip heating can be ac-
tivated only when the engine is
running.
2 No dot visible: heating off.
3 one dot visible: 50% heat
output.
4 three dots visible: 100%
heat output.
