Projection Wall Mount – One or Two-Sided Installation
The photoluminescent exit sign shall be placed above doors through which occupants must pass to
complete the exit path.
1. Mark pilot hole locations on wall using mounting holes in mounting bracket.
2. Drill pilot holes in wall surface.
3. Level and mount bracket to wall using mounting hardware.
4. Snap exit face plate to back plate.
5. Attach side of exit sign into mounting
bracket
6. Attach plastic filler strips (top and side).
7. Apply right and/or left arrows to face of sign.
Projection Ceiling Mount – One or Two-Sided
Installation
The photoluminescent exit sign shall be placed above doors through which occupants must pass to
complete the exit path.
1. Mark pilot hole locations on ceiling using mounting holes in mounting bracket.
2. Drill pilot holes in ceiling surface.
3. Level and mount bracket to ceiling using
mounting hardware.
4. Slide and snap exit face plate to back plate.
5. Attach top of exit sign into mounting
bracket.
6. Attach plastic filler strips (sides).
7. Apply right and/or arrows to face of sign.
OPERATION
o Exposure Requirements: The minimum amount of exposure to artificial ambient illumination
is 60 minutes from the following:
• One-foot candle (11 Lux) of florescent, incandescent, or LED light
o The control of the ambient illumination necessary to charge the luminous egress-path-
marking system should be restricted to authorized personnel only.
