8. Operation

Please note that when the 'Emission LED' is on, the laser is enabled and may emit laser light.
There is one LED on the remote control pad, one on the rear side and one the front side of the
device. The LED on the device lits if the device is connectect to the power supply. The LED on
the control pad lits if the device is switched on.
8.1 Power supply
Please make sure that the power supply is connected to an overload and a ground fault (earth
leakage) protection. Make sure to use correct voltage; see information at the end of this ma-
nual.
8.2 ILDA control
To control your device connect it via ILDA cables to an interface/controller. The pinout and
maximum voltages for the ILDA standard Sub-D connectors are:

After connecting select „LASER ON - ILDA IN" on the Remote Control Pad.
8.3 External Interlock
The Remote Control Pad has a built-in emergency stop. If there is the need for an external
interlock, please disconnect the Remote Control Pad and use the ‚Control' connection (RJ-48
connector) to connect it with an external interlock. Pins 7 and 8 are the emergency stop.
