    ABOUT THE FLEXPOINT® SYSTEM The FlexPoint® System consists of numerous elements which provide the correct and safe stabilization of the upper body, pelvis, upper and lower limbs while sitting.     SAFETY RULES ATTENTION! These instructions for use contain important information for the safe use and maintenance of all the FlexPoint® products. Read them carefully before using the product. Give them to the user or their caregiver. Make sure that the instructions are understood. Keep them in order to be able to use them again if necessary.

    HOW TO USE VEST The vest provides posture support for wheelchair users as well as patients sitting in positioning chairs or other rehabilitation seats. When properly used, the vest allows the patient to adopt the correct sitting position for a longer period of time. The design and shape of the vest make it possible for the patient to be free to move their upper limbs within the constraints of the patient.
  • Page 9 To prevent injuries and to minimize the risks associated with the use of the vest, the following rules should be followed: 1) The position of the vest MUST be checked each time after putting the patient in the seat. 2) Special attention should be paid to protecting the patient from falling forward, slipping off the seat or lifting the pelvis.     WARRANTY The FlexPoint® products are covered by a 24-month warranty for material defects as well as the defects caused in normal conditions of use. Contact your supplier or the manufacturer in order to make a warranty claim.

    MODEL: FP-01 DYNAMIC 4-POINT CHEST VEST DYNAMIC 4-POINT CHEST FlexPoint® VEST allows the trunk to be properly positioned while sitting.     ADJUSTMENT Adjust the shoulder straps of the vest, according to the user's shoulder width and sitting position. The upper straps of the vest should be between the neck and shoulder joint. Adjust the length of the lower straps so that they are not loose and to prevent the middle strap of the vest from rolling.
  • Page 24 The harness is equipped with a front buckle, which provides even better adjustment of the harness to the user and, if necessary, quick fastening and unfastening. Also, the adjustment of the harness width is possible due to the front buckle. ATTENTION! DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HARNESS CAN BE EASILY AND QUICKLY UNFASTENED WITH THE FRONT BUCKLE, IT SHOULD ONLY BE USED BY ALERT USERS.

    2-POINT CHEST BELT WITH FASTENING SUPPORT 2-POINT FlexPoint® CHEST BELT WITH FASTENING SUPPORT has the Velcro fastening on the chest. It is recommended for people who prefer chest stabilization without a buckle. To increase the comfort of a user, it is advised to use a soft, elastic and stretchable RELIEVING DYNAMIC PAD FOR SAFETY BELTS (FP-A-2).

    DYNAMIC 2-POINT CHEST BELT DYNAMIC 2-POINT FlexPoint® CHEST BELT is a great solution for those seeking perfect stability, the highest comfort of use and safety. The dynamic, central part of the belt is made of elastic, anatomically shaped material with high tensile strength.
  • Page 34 Hold & Pull™ system – the system provides a quick adjustment of the belt. An ergonomic, D-shaped grip is a great facilitation for people with hand dysfunctions. It is easy to hold and makes the adjustment of the belt smooth. Depending on the extent, to which the user is alert and mobile, you can choose a belt with a front adjustment (user side) or a rear adjustment (caregiver side).

    ADJUSTMENT Adjust the shoulder straps of the dynamic 4-point chest belt, according to the user's shoulder width and sitting position. Sit the user down on the wheelchair and firmly fasten the pelvis stabilizing belt. DYNAMIC 4-POINT CHEST BELTS can be fastened in two different ways: Crossover fastening: The relieving pads should be placed at the top of the sternum, but they cannot overlap.

    MODEL: FP-12 DYNAMIC 2-POINT PELVIC BELT DYNAMIC 2-POINT FlexPoint® PELVIC BELT is an easy-to-use belt with two attachment points and comfortable dynamic relieving pads. The belt provides exceptional comfort of use. It significantly improves pressure distribution, which is extremely important in sensitive body areas such as hip bone areas. The belt keeps the pelvis in the correct position as well as prevents the user from sliding forwards when sitting.

    THIGH ABDUCTION BELTS The DYNAMIC BREATHABLE FlexPoint® CALF BELT has been created for those users, who need comfortable and safe lower leg stabilization. There are two kinds of the belt to choose from: wide and narrow. The calf belt guarantees an effective and comfortable calf support.

  • Page 75 ACCESSORIES FP-A-3 DYNAMIC RELIEVING ANATOMIC PAD Using the pad significantly improves control over rotation and inclination of the pelvis, while minimizing pressure on the abdomen or underbelly (e.g. bladder). Thus, the comfort of using the pelvic belts is improved. The back side of the dynamic relieving anatomic pad is covered with a hook fabric which is easy to attach to the belt.
