To Remove & Replace the Motor
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the three screws that attach the mounting plate to the support housing.
3. Disconnect the motor leads.
4. Remove the two motor mounting screws.
5. Replace in the reverse order.
To Remove & Replace the Water Valve Switch
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the three screws that attach the mounting plate to the support housing.
3. Disconnect the water valve switch wire leads
4. Remove the switch mounting screws. Then remove the switch.
5. Replace in the reverse order, making sure the switch insulator is in place.
6. Check the water fill cycle. Adjust as required.
To Remove & Replace Holding Switch
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the three screws that attach the mounting plate to the support housing.
3. Disconnect the holding switch wire leads.
4. Remove the switch mounting screws. Then remove the switch.
5. Replace in the reverse order.
To Remove & Replace Signal Arm Shut-Off switch.
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the three screws that attach the mounting plate to the support housing.
3. Disconnect the switch wire leads.
4. Note the position of the switch actuator and spring in case they are dislodged
5. Remove the switch mounting screws. Then remove the switch.
6. Replace in the reverse order.
To Remove & Replace the On/Off Switch
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Disconnect the switch wire leads.
3. Press down on the tabs on the top and bottom of the switch to release it from the housing.
4. Replace in the reverse order.
To Remove & Replace Ice Maker Thermostat
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the three screws that attach the mounting plate to the support housing.
3. Remove the two screws that attach the mould to the support housing. Separate the mould from the
support housing.
4. Disengage the signal arm.
5. Disconnect the thermostat wire leads. Then remove the thermostat and spring.
6. Apply the thermal mastic sealer to the sensing surface of the replacement thermostat to insure
positive bond to the mould.
7. Replace in the reverse order.
