2. INTENDED USE STARK RF900- Rotating Device is designed and intended to be used as an attachment on STARK Bucket Sweepers for rotating the machine. Rotating device enables turning the Bucket Sweeper rearwards while driving forward. Rotating device also enables sweeping near of edge rocks. RF 900 Rotating device is suitable for KAH 1600/ST, 1800/ST, 2000/ST and 2510/ST- models.
When inquiring and ordering parts please give the product model and serial number from the identification plate to facilitate service. When attaching the device for the first time, make sure it is compatible with the base machine by following the instructions below. Always check the compatibility when attaching the bucket spreader to a new base machine. Rotating device is attached to base machine by bolt-on STARK FIT quick hitcher system. Base machine fit is bolted on to bracket.
7. 7.2. Adjusting the safety mechanism Picture 4. Safety mechanism adjusting bolts (6pcs). Rotating device is equipped with safety mechanism which will protect rotating gear in case of possible collision. Adjustment bolts (shown in picture 5) are tightened on factory to 20Nm, that should not be changed without reason. Due usage of the rotating device, the safety bolts may be needed to re-tighten to 20Nm.
8. MAINTENANCE OF ROTATING DEVICE 8.1. General cautions concerning use and maintenance Comply with the applicable laws and regulations and the instructions in this manual. Never go under the machine if it is not supported. Always put on the base machine’s parking brake before any servicing on the machine Use only tools which are in good condition.
9. HYDRAULICS Rotating device is possible to connect either two- or four-hose hydraulic system. Below are shown hydraulic schemes for both connections. Maximum rotational speed of the device is restricted to 1 rpm. Higher speeds are not allowed by the manufacturer of the device.
