Perform this adjustment/check with the case (upper) , parti-
tion and battery case installed.
(Do under the regular use condition).
Equipment and Tools Required
Same as "3-2-5. S/N Checking".
Connection
Same as "3-2-5. S/N Checking".
Switch and Control Setting
Same as "1. Switch and Control Initial Setting" on page 3-2
expect the following setting.
SQUELCH switch : ON
(Set the RF squelch level to "10" )
Procedure
Step 1. Tuner 1 Checking
(1) Set the CONTROL switch (S1601) to "1".
(2) Set the channel setting as follows;
. Tuner 1 channel setting
Same as "1. Switch and Control Initial Setting" on
page 3-2.

Set the Tuner 2 to channel setting different from the
above Tuner 1 channel setting.
(3) Connect the signal generator to the ANT a connector.
(4) Set the signal generator as follows:

(5) Increase gradually the output level from the signal gen-
erator, and check that the output level of the signal gen-
erator is as follows when the RF input level indicator
lights.

(6) Set the channel setting and FREQUENCY (carrier fre-
quency) of the signal generator as shown 1 and 2
below.
Perform the procedures (3) through (5) above, for each
channel setting (1 and 2).
