Subsequently loosen the upper set screw (no. 5, fig. 1) and the lower set screw (no. 6, fig. 1) for the cutting
bow (no. 1, fig. 1); open this fully and then retighten the set screws (no. 5 and no. 6, fig. 1).
Loosen the set screw (no. 7, fig. 1) of the bearing rail (no. 8, fig. 1), fold it out fully to the right and then
retighten the set screw (no. 7, fig. 1). The bearing rail (no. 8, fig. 1) is now located at a 90° angle to the
cutting wire. To ensure the foam board is held securely unfold the board supports (no. 11a/b, fig. 3) as well.
Now insert the mains plug into the socket (230 V).
The device is operational when the On/Off switch (no. 9, fig. 3) on the transformer is switched on and illu-
minated.
