Attention
If ladders are mounted in lift shafts, the ladder and its attachments must not extend
into the moving parts of the lift.
Whether the pit ladder is in use or not, there shall also be suffi cient space in the pit
to accommodate a rectangular block not less than 0,5m x 0,6m x 1,0m resting on
one of its faces, when the car rests on its fully compressed puffers.
This is also valid for an uncontrolled sinking of the car.
Attention
For professional use of the ladder, see the instructions, affi xed to every ladder.
Attention
If there are no other equivalent possibilities of holding on to, the ladder must jut out
at least 1m beyond the exit, according to §22 pt 2 of AAA ladders and treads.
Attention
All safety instructions and all safety measures for lift mounting have to be
considered while mounting.
Assembly operations at lift systems have to be accomplished only by qualifi ed per-
sons.
