Seating and Safety Restraints
Driver Seat Belts
To prevent property damage, personal injury, and
/ or death, any seat belt in use during an accident
must be replaced. When replacement of any part
of the seat belt is required, the entire belt must be
replaced, both retractor and buckle sides.
To prevent property damage, personal injury, and
/ or death, properly inspect and maintain seat
belts every 10,000 miles or sooner during heavy
usage.
Wear your seat belt at all times the vehicle is in motion to avoid
personal injury. Before fastening the seat belt, adjust the seat
to the desirable driving position.
(three-point) seat belt with retractor is standard.

(Three-Point) Belt
To prevent property damage, personal injury,
and / or death, position the safety belt height
adjusters so that the belt rests across the middle
of your shoulder. Failure to adjust the safety belt
properly could reduce the effectiveness of the
seat belt.
Inspect the entire seat belt assembly for corrosion, wear, fraying
or weak spots. Check the retractor, latch, and buckle for proper
function, and all seat belt mounting bolts for tightness.
