• Children DO NOT play on, or with, the Stargazer as this may cause damage and could result in personal injury. • NO ONE stands or sits on the arms or back rest as this may cause the Stargazer to tip and/or damage the Stargazer. To do so may cause personal injury. -

• Damage to the fabric. Chair Delivery The Stargazer will have been set up at the date of delivery and supplied with a full set of documents. If you have any questions, please speak to the person or company that took delivery. -
Page 7: Feature Functionality
Location of the Stargazer Position the Stargazer in your chosen location, ensuring that there is enough space for the base to be fully extended to form the bed. You will find the dimensions of the Stargazer on page 11 of this manual. - Page 8 Setting up the Bed The lockable castors should be in the lock position before commencing the following instructions for the bed set up (illustrations A1 to A6). Step 1 Pull on the black handle on the front base of the chair as shown in A1. The base unit that the handle is attached to will come out first and if you continue to pull on the handle the underneath of the seat will also come out to give you the full base length for the bed extension shown in A2.
- Page 9 Step 2 Put your hands at either side of the extended cushion (lower tier) and pull it upwards and towards you as shown in A3. The seating on this part of the base works on a mechanism that allows the base to rise and move into a position where it will rest safely on the front of the skirting to form an extended bed surface as shown in A4.
- Page 10 Step 3 Simply push the top of the back cushion down and push into the space. Once this cushion is in place, with a slight rise to act as a pillow, the bed is ready as shown in A6. Step 4 To return the mechanism to its original seating position simply reverse the actions listed above.

• Avoid allowing pets onto the Stargazer as their claws may cause damage to the upholstery. All animals have a degree of oil in their coats which may transfer too your fabric if they go onto the chair. -
