  • Page 7 3) Rinse the Membrane Module with distilled water and blot dry with a clean lab wipe. 4) Clip one membrane from white protective round paper. 5) May use tweezers to put the membrane between the membrane cap and membrane base. If found there are air bubbles, knock on the membrane cap carefully to dispel them.

To do zero dissolved oxygen calibration by the following steps: 1) Connect the electrode to the meter.

    Troubleshooting If the electrode reading is not at (or very close to) zero in oxygen-free Dl water, then polish the tip (cathode) of the electrode. If the electrode readings are not within the normal ranges given above, or the electrode reading drifts, inspect the Membrane Module.
