    Switch off the device. No load should be suspended. Press "ON/OFF" and "HOLD/UNITS" simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display indicates the maximum capacity of the device, then "CAL". Press "TARE" for 3 seconds, then release. The - - symbol flashes for around 5 seconds, after which the maximum capacity is displayed.
