Example
When repeating the procedure, all references to channel
1
should be
changed to the channel being tested. Turn off all unused channels
using the
BLANk
command.
Bandwidth errors can be caused by the need for adjustment. Perform
high frequency pulse response a&ustment, (see Adjustment
procedures, Chapter
5)
before troubleshooting instrument. If
adjustment fails to correct problem, cause may be the attenuator or A2
PCA See troubleshooting in Chapter 8.
This program is provided to show how to perform a bandwidth test,
and print out the results of each measurement. The program pauses to
allow the user to a&ust the signal generator and power meter.
The example is written using:
an HP-IB select code of 7, primary address of 09, and
secondary address of 05 for the HP E1426A
