Disconnect the unit from power.

Use suitable ESD protection equipment and place the MSED/
HL950 on a grounded surface.

Identify the E1 interface module bracket on the rear of the unit
(see figure on previous page). Unscrew the two screws and gently
remove the E1 card from the chassis.

Mount the jumpers (marked JP1 to JP10) as shown in the figure
below:

Insert the board; ensure that the connector pins and holes match
each other. Then push the board firmly until the bracket rests
against the unit housing.

Insert the two screws and tighten them.

Connect and power up the unit.
