  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================ Step 2 Install Drawbar Attach Drawbar brackets (29) to the tray (3) using the following as illustrated: x4 - 5/16” x 1” Hex Head Bolts (14) x4 - 5/16" Hex Lock Nuts (15) Attach the drawbars (4) to the drawbar brackets that were just attached.
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================ Step 3-A Slide the Axle (6) through the hole in the End Panel (5, right side). Add two 5/8" Thick, Flat Washers (16) to the axle. Step 3-B CAUTION: GLOVES ARE REQUIRED WHEN HANDLING AERATOR TINES. Tines have extremely sharp points.
  • Page 10 ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================ Step 3-C Position one or two washers (16 or 26) as needed to eliminate any side-to-side movement and push Axle Assembly (6) through hole in the left End Panel (5) as far as possible. See layout below. NOTE: Tines must not move from side to side inside opening of end panels. IF LOOSENESS EXISTS, use additional 5/8"...
  • Page 11 ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================ Step 4-B Slide the Handle Assembly (8) on the end of the Axle Assembly (6). Insert one 1/4” x 1-1/4” Hex Bolt (23) though the hole in the end of the Handle Assembly (8). Secure with 1/4” Hex Nut (24), as shown.

Step 5-B IMPORTANT: Attaching the wheel without all of the proper hardware will cause the wheel to INSTALL FIRST WHEEL wobble. Insure all hardware is used, see Attach a wheel (9) to the wheel bar inset below.
