Using the Certifier40G

2.1.3 How do I upgrade the firmware?

To upgrade the Certifier40G software, use a USB flash drive
and prepare it for upgrade of the latest firmware using the
Certifier40G Reporter software. Plug in the USB flash drive
in the USB host connector of Certifier40G local or remote
unit (this step must be repeated on both the local and remote
unit). Certifier40G will show the screen below. Select the
start software update option and it will prompt a caution
message. Choose Yes to upgrade the software.
