1. Add the following lines to the "/etc/modprobe.d/mlnx.conf" file.
blacklist mlx4_core
blacklist mlx4_en
blacklist mlx5_core
blacklist mlx5_ib
2. Set "ONBOOT=no" in the "/etc/infiniband/openib.conf" file.
3. If the modules exist in the initramfs file, they can automatically be loaded by the kernel.
To prevent this behavior, update the initramfs using the operating systems' standard tools.
Note: The process of updating the initramfs will add the blacklists from step 1, and will prevent the kernel from
loading the modules automatically.

4.1.3.8 Uninstalling MLNX_OFED

Use the script /usr/sbin/ofed_uninstall.sh to uninstall the Mellanox OFED package. The script is part of the ofed-scripts
RPM.

4.1.4 Installing MLNX_OFED Using YUM

This type of installation is applicable to RedHat/OL, Fedora, XenServer Operating Systems.

4.1.4.1 Setting up MLNX_OFED YUM Repository

1. Log into the installation machine as root.
2. Mount the ISO image on your machine and copy its content to a shared location in your network.
