Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when your refrigerator has been damaged in any way, such as the power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into your refrigerator, your refrigerator has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
2.2 Cu. Ft. Retro Compact Refrigerator If a component part is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Follow local regulations regarding disposal of your refrigerator due to flammable refrigerant and gas.

2.2 Cu. Ft. Retro Compact Refrigerator Assembling the door handle and bottle opener CAUTION: If you lay your refrigerator on its back or side for any length of time, wait for six hours after you stand it up again before you plug it in. Otherwise, you may damage internal components.
Align the grooves on the handle with the rails on the handle base, then slide the handle into the base. Rail Groove Installing your refrigerator Before using your refrigerator • Remove the exterior and interior packing. • Let your refrigerator stand upright for approximately four hours before connecting it to power.

Connecting power Check your local power source. Your refrigerator requires a 110 V ~ 120 V, 60 Hz power supply. Your refrigerator should be correctly grounded for your safety. Use a receptacle that accepts the grounding prong. The power cord is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from your refrigerator.

Adjusting the shelf Your refrigerator has two shelves. The top shelf is adjustable. The bottom shelf is fixed. Open the refrigerator door all the way. Lift the back of a shelf, then pull it out. To reinstall the shelf, align the shelf above the shelf rails with the back of the shelf tilted up.
2.2 Cu. Ft. Retro Compact Refrigerator Remove the rack from the door. To replace the rack, align the rack in the door, then press down on the rack until it clicks into place. Maintaining your refrigerator Your refrigerator is designed for year-round use with only minimal cleaning and maintenance.
Shutting down your refrigerator Turn off your refrigerator and unplug it from the power outlet. Remove all food. Clean your refrigerator. Leave the door open slightly to avoid possible formation of condensation, mold, or odor. CAUTION: Use extreme caution with children. Your refrigerator shouldn’t be accessible to child's play.
